Tariffs this, tariffs that. At this point, you’re probably seeing it behind your eyelids. It’s dominating the news cycle (for good reason). I think most of us can agree it’s a combination of political bullshit and proof of concept that our “emperor” has no clothes, or at least, not any good ones.

Regardless of it all, it’s forcing a bubbling conversation to the forefront of American discourse: what does anything cost?

The truth is, most don’t really know. And as a result, we are both flooded with and susceptible to a fire hose of content revolving around “what something costs” without any insight into the supply chain.

In my opinion, the brands that will survive the next year of volatility will use it as an opportunity to lock in a real value proposition.
